They treated audio as an after thought and equipped the typical TV set with a dinky little speaker that wouldn't have been used in a radio at the time. Dr. Francis X. ‘Duke’ Kane is the recognized and humble originator of the uses of GPS during his career in the USAF. Duke will share his views on technology and its impact on our society touching on past, present and future. Further, he will provide background on his work with Gen. Bernard A. Schriever during their “stellar” parallel careers in the USAF and post USAF careers; all dedicated to the advancement of space exploration technologies.
