About the Card Catalogue
Nathan Gomez at the Card CatalogueOkay, we admit it. There are no cards in the card catalogue. The 2,230 books, audio tapes and videos in the San Antonio Peace and Justice Resource Center are catalogued using a Filemaker Pro database. Searches can be performed using author, title, publication date, publisher or category (the list is below). A computer, donated by the Kronkosky Foundation, is in the library, but a printed copy of the catalogue, sorted by author, title and category, is also available. We are in the process of finding the time and money to write step-by-step instructions on how to use the electronic catalogue. • How to Check Out a Book
This is a lending library and all of the materials may be checked out. There is no set check out period, but we recommend one week for videos and three weeks for books and audio tapes.

There is a card pocket attached to every book and tape. Just print your name, phone number and the date on the card and place it in the file box on the library desk. When you return a book or tape, just leave it on the desk and we will eventually reshelve it in its proper place on the shelves.
